Cost of Living

The Cost of Living Index (COLI) comes quarterly from C2ER and provides a baseline for understanding how regional costs of living compare to the nation and to each other. The index is comprised of six major categories: grocery items, housing, utilities, transportation, health care, and miscellaneous goods and services. For example, an index below 100 means the region has a lower cost of living, whereas above 100 means it is more expensive to live.
